This reader works great for transferring music and pics to your micro card for use in your smart phone. I have a card reader on my laptop, but with this I can use it wherever.
This Reader is about the size of a flash drive and weighs even less. Your computer will have to install the reader software before you use it the first time, but it is self contained, and just requires a couple of minutes before first time use. You seem to need a mini adaptor to put the micro card in, but every micro card I've ever bought had at least that with it. I just leave the mini card adaptor in the reader and I am ready to go.
If you have a smart phone or other device with a micro card, this doo-dad is very handy to have!

THIS ITEM IS VERY REASONABLY PRICED...IN FACT I GOT IT FOR ABOUT $10 INCLUDING SHIPPING COSTS IN COMBINATION WITH A HIGH SPEED SD MEMORY CARD.
I TRAVEL TO VISIT MY GRANDCHILDREN FREQUENTLY AND REALLY DON'T LIKE TO TAKE MY CAMERA CABLE BECAUSE I HAVE LOST IT A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE PAST.
THIS TINY LITTLE GADGET FITS CONVENIENTLY IN A LITTLE CORNER IN MY CAMERA CASE, AND I CAN USE IT TO LEAVE PICTURES WITH MY SONS, FAMILY & FRIENDS OR TO UPLOAD PICTURES TO ONLINE PROCESSING SITES TO ORDER PRINTS. IT ALSO EASILY ALLOWS ME TO TAKE PICTURES FROM THEIR CAMERAS JUST BY PUTTING IN THEIR CARD...MUST HAVE EVERY PICTURE POSSIBLE OF THESE PRECIOUS LITTLE GRANDCHILDREN!

My husband and I both got one of these for are MP3 Players. We wanted to be able to put more than 150 songs on our players. Awesome deal, great price, and we will now be able to put near 500 songs. These cards were more than $50.00 at Wal-Mart. Not only did we get a Micro SD Card we got a free card reader so we can easily move data from card to computer easily. Huge Bargain! It was such a deal we went back and bought another one a week later. The only problem we had was that there was no paperwork, invoice, or packaging. It came in a plastic case in a plain envelope. Was skeptical but works just fine. We would recommend this product and this company also.Customer Review: Nothing fancy, but has worked great for me.

I received this as a free bonus when purchasing a microSD 8gb card for my phone. Since then, I upgraded phones, and the new phone came with a larger card. So I'm using the 8gb card in this device basically for a thumb drive, and I've had no problems with it. It is great to have for those times you're at a computer with no card reader built in. It is not very fast, though, so if you need a super quick data transfer option, this probably isn't it. You do need the adapater for the smaller formats, but if you use the smaller formats, you should have those anyway.Customer Review: How Did I Get Along Without It?

It turned my SD cards into a USB drive. I love it. I use it at home to transfer files from one SD card to another and at work to keep my files safe.
The DMS 6-in-1 USB 2.0 High Speed Memory Card Reader Writer is Awesome! Using this with my computer's built in card reader makes a simple drag and drop procedure. It works exactly like a USB drive. On most computers it plugs right in. On others, with recessed USB ports I have had to use a USB extension cord.
I am very happy with this purchase and will probably buy another one.
