I have a Belkin adapter that is hard rubber and not flexible at all which pulls out of my phone every time I put it in my pocket. This adapter however has a small jack with a flexible cord about 4" long so it doesn't become an antenna like extension off your phone. A great buy and the price is just right.Customer Review: Great to have if you need it.

If you're like me and have a 1st Generation iPhone then this adaptor is nice to have if you want to use normal headphones, earbuds, or if you want to run your music through a sound system. This product works great.... too bad we ever needed it though. Apple needs to fix it's headphone output design.
The product price was great, but the people I bought it from charged me a fortune to have it shipped... so be careful about shipping charges.

I needed this for my Bose QC2s and it just works. haven't had a problem with sound quality, and its got the three rings on the head so you can still plug in the apple headphones if you want. It does what it needs to do. I wanted to be able to use my iPhone as an iPod in the car and works really well and is unobtrusive with the black car jack. I bought two, just in case I lose one. It works just like it is supposed to. Highly recommend.
