We had just purchased 4 new laser printers to hook up 8 new computers. You can imagine my dismay when I found out we could not hook 2 computers to the back of each printer. Even computer nerds did not have an answer for us. One said we were looking for something that did not exist unless we went with networking. These computers are not online and never will be. Then I went to Amazon.com and started looking. After reading the descriptions on a lot of different attachments and cords, I ran across these switches. I ordered 2 first to make the trial and they worked! there is a place to plug the 2 computers into the switch; and a place to plug one printer in to the switch; thus making the connection we need. Seems to work great. This is a secret that should be let out.
