Customer Review: My First Netbook Bag (& Amazon) Review!
Summary: 5 Stars

* Reviewers BG: I bought my first netbook and I needed something that will protect it when carrying inside my backpack. So this is my first time buying any of these bags with not much knowledge in this field.
* Pros: Good color scheme, $15 from Amazon, Nice front compartment to store power adapter, cd drive etc.
* Cons: Little smelly
* Function: The function of this sleeve is to carry the netbook safely from any scratches. It also acts as a good storage when you are not using it by preventing dusts from getting inside. I fooled myself thinking this was some super thick meshy material but it's a really thin spongy material. It may help prevent damage from light shocks but anything more and it's risking damages. However, it's still great for preventing dusts from getting in when you're not using and also carrying it inside a backpack. It also has a great front storage pocket that is big enough to fit all of the accessories you need for your netbook!
* Value: I bought my product for $15 and I think it's worth every penny. If it's possible to get it for less, it would be a great bargain.
* Quality: The product is great quality. The zipper is secured well, the bag itself has no problem. The only thing that you can probably complain about is the smell. It's not too strong but it has a weird factory/chemical smell. I do not mind, you can air it out for a while and it becomes more and more diluted as time goes by.
* 2 Months Later: I love it still! Nothing has broken, the smell isn't there (unless u put your nose right on it), and it still holds my netbook dandy :). I noticed some people are worried if the red interior smears onto the netbook, well mine hasn't. I give it 5 stars!

Customer Review: Good Machine
Summary: 5 Stars

The ASUS 1000He is a good machine for the price. I have been using it for about one week and am impressed with the screen and keyboard. I had been using an ACER 8.9 inch screen, but the keyboard was smaller and more difficult to type with. I like the fact that this machine is quickly upgradable for its memory and the hard drive is also readily accessible. The bluetooth capability is excellent, as it frees up a USB port.

The battery, while listed as providing "UP TO 9.5 HOURS" understates the capability. I have been able to get no more than 6:45 out of the battery (although this is not too shabby). Also, trying to set up the online storage is complicated. The code that should have been on the manual was not there. Also, I tried runnig the machine in 1024x768-compressed mode. It worked, but I had a video card problem that had a square of multi-colored pixels following my mouse around the keyboard. It went away when I went back to normal resolution. I also find the 30-day no "bright screen spots" a bit disconcerting, as it makes me think thzt they know they have a problem with their scrren or video card and did not want to take the time to take care of the problem, so the warranty could also be one year for the screen (under normal use).

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the machine as it is easier to type on, has better screen resolution than other machines and is quite modest in price. I find the pluses of the machine outweigh the negatives. I would like to see more memory capability in the future.

Customer Review: Great netbook case, solid construction, can't ask for more!
Summary: 5 Stars

Pros:
- Good construction
- Perfect fit for 10 inch netbooks
- Zipper pocket in front for power adapter or mouse
- Convenient handle
- Relatively cheap

Cons:
- Pocket is snug if including mouse and power adapter
- No other color than black, grey, and (oddly) magenta

Summary:
I got the Case Logic sleeve as a gift for a relative who has a 10 inch gateway netbook and I must say I was really surprised at how great the item was for the price. It is relatively cheap but was a perfect fit and the construction seemed very good. The stitching was nice and tight with no loose threads, the inside was nice and clean with an attractive red color and the handle seems like it will hold on pretty well. The person I gave it to says that the extra zippered pocket in the front is very handy for fitting in his powerplug and a small notebook mouse but it is a bit snug. He likes the design and how it can either be put in another bag, like a backpack, or be carried on its own because of the handle when he just needs his netbook for class. We both recommend this sleeve.

Customer Review: A near-perfect little bag, especially for the X100e
Summary: 5 Stars

Pluses and minuses of this product, for me:

+ Handles let you carry it separately
+ Handles are built to fold flat
+ Zippers work well, and build quality in general is top-notch
+ Pocket can hold a power supply, increasing the ability to
+ Quite durable, with thick reinforced neoprene and tough seams
+ The reinforced material gives, but not as much as thin, cheap neoprene bags (meaning the laptop does not "swim" inside)
+ Perfect fit for my X100e-- and I mean absolutely perfect, including the six-cell battery

- The handles, folded flat, add ever so slightly to the thickness of the bag when inserted into a larger bag
- A thick corded seam on the outside of the external pocket unnecessarily adds to the width when inserted into a larger bag
- The outer pocket is unnecessarily restricted in size; it should be able to cover the length and width of the laptop, though it might not look as snazzy that way

All in all, by far the best bag for the buck I've found for the X100e. Check out the LNEO-10 for smaller laptops and netbooks.

Customer Review: excellent match to the Samsung NC10
Summary: 5 Stars

I originally hesitated ordering this case because I thought it looked cheesy, especially the handles and the piping around the front pocket. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive it because the handles are actually a great feature and they are quite comfortable without being bulky. The handles also provide assurance over other notebook sleeves that you won't drop your computer if you get a case of butterfingers. The Samsung NC10 fits well, but not too snug where it might be difficult to insert and remove from the case. The AC adapter fits perfectly in the front pocket and there is still some room to spare if needed, plus the material has some stretch if you need it to fit larger items. The case definitely provides some cushion, especially compared to the sleeve the Samsung comes with, however it is not overly bulky so you shouldn't expect the protection of a large notebook briefcase.

Overall, I think this is a good buy and provides necessary protection without giving up the light weight and ultra portability that having a netbook provides.
