I purchased this case for the Garmin nüvi 855 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator with Speech Recognition. The GPS easily fits inside of the case. The soft lining of the case provides anti-scratch protection to the unit itself, and the rigid outer case provides enough protection that I don't have to worry about damaging the GPS if I shove it under a cramped seat, in a book-filled backpack, or in the glove box. It's not a tight fit inside of the case, but I would rather have it a little loose than a little tight. On the top half of the inside of the case, there is a mesh/elastic band partition that some people might use to store cords or instructions. I can't fit the car cord for my GPS in the same case, but I can actually fit my entire GPS behind the elastic band and it is more snug. But I think the soft lining in the rest of the case is easier on the face of the GPS than the mesh and elastic band.
