Not a lot to be said, it works perfectly, it runs cool, (I don't think I've ever felt any heat at all coming from the unit actually) and it provides an affordable way to get 1:1 reproduction. This is basically the same quality as a high cost model for display rooms, but with less inputs and outputs, meant for consumer use. It was meant to be on and working for long periods of time I gather, because there's no power switch. The way you turn it off, is to unplug the power cord from the unit, or the wall. Using it is very simple, you plug the source into the input row, and plug a male/male composite cable into each/any of the outputs, and then into the respective devices. Of course, make sure you get a few high quality shielded M/M composite cables with this unit, or it'll be useless until you do.
I would highly recommend this unit for doing Let's Plays, so you can be playing the game like you normally would on the TV while recording everything you're doing on a video capture card. To be paired with this, I recommend the StarTech SVID2USB2 USB 2.0 capture card. It's a fantastic addition to this product when recording an LP, and provides one of the best setups you can put together, video-wise, for under $100.
