Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Cables Unlimited PCM-2296-06 HDMI to DVI D Cable, 6 feetCustomer Review: Why spend $100? Summary: 5 Stars
Similar situation. Wanted to hook up DVI output from my PC's new video card to the HDMI slot on my new TV. I shopped online to get a better price for the video card, but figured I'd just drop by Fry's or Best Buy for the adapter cable. Both places were selling it for $100! At best Fry's had a shorter one for $80. I promptly ordered this one instead, and it's been working great.
Customer Review: Works as well as Monster Summary: 5 Stars
I had the opportunity to put this up against the Monster version of this cable, and there wasn't any noticable difference, other than being 10X cheaper at the time. My conversion is HDMI from a Scientific Atlanta HD Cable Box to DVI-D on a Sony Plasma. No issues.
You should also know that you will also have to buy some audio cables, as DVI is a video 'only' cable.
Customer Review: Works just as expected. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this cable to connect my Macbook Pro to my Sharp AQUOS HDTV and it worked perfectly. Picture is perfect, HDTV makes a great 2nd monitor, and my daughter enjoys watching Yo Gabba Gabba in iTunes on the big screen too. I only wish I had bought a slightly longer length cable so I could comfortably sit on the couch while the Macbook is connected, but that is my own fault.
Customer Review: Worth more than I paid Summary: 5 Stars
I use this cable to connect my Powerbook to my HDTV.
The picture looks FREAKING AWESOME. A clear digital signal with a sweet 1080p (equivalent) picture.
Don't be fooled into buying a more expensive cable of its kind.
Not Necessary.
I highly recommend this cable to anyone who wants to connect their PC to their TV via HDMI.
Sweet!
Customer Review: works great Summary: 5 Stars
Cables perform work very well between my new blue ray player (1080p)HDMI output and my Samsung DLP television's 1080i DVI input. The price is right - I have paid close to $100 for a (another high quality cable manufacturer) DVI-only cable from my DVR and my eyes can't see the difference in picture quality. My wallet appreciates the difference in cost though, very much.
