Customer Review: Good cable for a low price to connect an older HDTV to a PS3

I used this cable to connect an older Sony HDTV with a DVI input to a Sony Playstation3. It worked just fine. The Playstation3 used the DVI to HDMI cable for the video and used the audio from the composite (or component, I get the two mixed up) cable that came with the system. It links fast with no compatibility issues or obvious image quality issues. The Sony TV is capable of 720P and 1080I and both modes looked good to me. I would buy one of these again if I needed one.Customer Review: Exactly what I wanted!

I got these cables plus a mini DVI to DVI converted and everything worked splendidly. I recommend getting the mini DVI to DVI through Amazon as well. Link here: Apple Mini-dvi To Video Adapter. I wanted to watch video from my MacBook(2008) on my Samsung 32inch flatscreen and it worked perfectly. Sometimes a thing works so well as to seem to be not there at all. As I write this, it occurrs to me that all my breathing so far today has carried on so flawlessly that until now, I've not even noticed.
Such is the case with this cable. It came, I installed it, it worked. My thanks to all who had anything to do with the creation of this "plain-ole" cable. It is definitely part of the solution and not a part of the problems in my life.

I am very pleased with this product. It is a fraction of the price of cables made by Monster. Since it is digital, it either transmits the data or it doesn't. Materials the cable is made of doesn't weigh in as with composite or component cables. Definitely would recommend it over the competition. Also, I really like Cables Unlimited. I used this to connect the HDMI:out of my DVD player to the DVD-D:in of my computer LCD monitor. Then hooked speakers RCA connect from my DVD player.
Result: I get to watch DVDs in the bedroom on my $160 widescreen 22" LCD monitor, without having to spend money on an LCDTV.
So I consider my $6 "investment" for the cable that provided me this ability to be definite winner for BARGAIN of the month! =)
