These HDMI cables work just fine for me. Now I've not used any of the $100+ cables that are on offer (and all you can get in Circuit City/Best Buy etc.), but I would expect them to be of a higher quality in terms of how they're made and the picture and sound they deliver. BUT for less than $10 who can complain? They look and feel fine and deliver a better picture than the analogue cables I was using. After spending $750 on a new HDTV, I'm not prepared to spend another $130 on a cable! Not to mention I needed two of them (one for my HD upconverting DVD player). Delivery was prompt too, just taking a few days. I couldn't recomend these enough, given the alternatives at at least 10 times the price.Customer Review: awesome

ATTENTION TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR HDMI CABLES!
There is absolutely NO need to spend money on the ridiculously priced HDMI cables that are found in retail stores. Stay away from the ($150 +) Monster cables or anything priced over $30 for that matter. Digital cables either work or they don't. There is no in-between. Certain cable manufactures and stores (best buy) would love for you to think otherwise, but don't let yourself be suckered into that garbage. Save yourself a lot of money and go with these cables instead. They work perfectly. Spend a few dollars and do a comparison test if you want to. You will see no difference in quality between these and much more expensive cables.

Don't pay a $170 dollar 6 feet HMDI monster cable when you can get this huge bargain for less than 5 dollars (with shipping). The item I received works with 1.2 HDMI with my Syntax Olevia LT42HVi 42" HD-Ready Flat-Panel LCD TV. I'm also using the DVD DV-696 AV-s by Pioneer and works marvelously with 1080i upscaling.
According to previous sellers who did comparisons on both the bargain and retail products, the monster and bargain HDMI connects don't make much of a difference if not totally similar in terms of quality. Comparisons were read on NewEgg dot com and Amazon dot com.
The perfect purchase for the price sensitive buyer and video/audio phile's of the world.

When I was searching for hdmi cables I was overwhelmed about all the brands and price difference. I went for this one as I was taught at my university (I am a computer engineer) that digital is digital, even if it loses it's strength it's not going to lose it on such a short distance. A cable isn't permitted to degrade the signal past a certain point, but in most cases, this won't happen and just about any cable will work (unless your HD device is on your mother's in law's apartment one block away and your are trying to hook it to your TV in your room)
I bought 2 of them, but I am just using one with my 42" panasonic HDTV and a sony 350 blu ray

I could not bring myself to pay $100 or more for 2 additional HDMI cables which I needed for a new DVD player and another TV. I took a chance with these cable and I am glad I did. In comparison to a Monster Cable HDMI, which I already had, I saw absolutely no difference in quality with an HD feed. I have a reasonably discerning eye for video quality, and if there is any real difference between the two, someone would have to point it out to me, and if this is the case, I don't really care. I am sure there are cheap cables out there which make people believe they must pay big bucks for quaility, but not in this case. Great product.
