Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Cables To Go Velocity Series 40315 HDMI Cable (Blue, 2 meters)

Customer Review: Why spend a fortune?
Summary: 5 Stars

Look, I'm a big fan of saving money. This HDMI cable works like a dream. I thought of going with the Monster Cable that costs 5 times as much, but on doing some research, I found that a digital signal doesn't degrade the way an analog signal will as it travels through a wire. This means if you've got the signal, you've got the signal. How it gets from point A to point B doesn't matter. As long as it arrives, you've got great picture and sound! Take the money you save on this cable and use it to buy yourself an HD movie or game. Either will still look and sound great!

Customer Review: WHAT A CABLE SHOULD COST
Summary: 5 Stars

After purchasing my 56" DLP, I was presented an array of HDMI cables at the superstore ranging from $[...]. No way jose, I checked out AMAZON.com and came across this one. Slighlty skeptical simply due to the fact this cable is a fraction of the price, I ordered it. It works great. Good quality and no signal noise. This is what a cable should cost. The superstores are trying to make up for lost margins on the competeive price of TV's by selling add-on and related items with unreasonable mark-ups. If you are in the market for an HDMI cable, order this one!

Customer Review: Cheap Cables that work great!
Summary: 5 Stars

I just recently purchased a Samsung HLT6187S 61" Slim LED Engine 1080p DLP HDTV from Amazon and got these cables to go along with it. I'm using them to hook up my PS3 to my TV. The picture quality is superb. I haven't used Monster HDMI cables on this TV yet so I can't really compare products, but so far these are doing the job just fine. I'm getting crystal clear 1080p resolution out of all of my blue-ray movies. If anyone wants to send me some Monster Cables so I can test them out then feel free to do so, but until then I'll stick with the cheaper ones.

Customer Review: $60 - $80? HA!
Summary: 5 Stars

When I bought my HDTV this past January the person at best buy recommended I purchase a monster cable which would cost between 60 and $80. Instead I decided to research it at home and was glad I did as I found this cable. I got it a few days after purchase and have zero problems with picture quality whatsoever. Now keep in mind that I've never seen my set utilized with a "higher quality cable", but to the common user it strikes me as unlikely that any difference would be noticeable. If and when I get more products requiring HDMI input, I'll buy this again.

Customer Review: Excellent!
Summary: 5 Stars

Wow. I recently bought a Samsung 46" LCD, and to be quite honest I was somewhat disappointed when I hooked it up and turned it on. That is until I connected it with this cable. What a huge difference in picture quality! My cable company supplied component video cables and they worked great on my previous HDTV. For some reason they were sub-par on this new TV. I strongly recommend that anyone who wants the optimum picture for their HDTV experiment with cables to see which produces the best picture for their TV. For me it turned out that HDMI was the ticket.
