I often move my PS3 from my main entertainment room to my bedroom. I got tired of swapping the power and HDMI cables out, so I bought this power cable to keep in my room, along with an extra HDMI. Now all I have to do is disconnect the system itself, leave the cables where they are, and plug it back in wherever I move it to.
I've been using this for quite some time and the durability seems fine. It's really not much different than the "official" sony cable that comes with the PS3. Overall, works great!
