I needed to get the internet to go from my router to my computer. This cable helped make that happen. Here's how:
1. I measured the distance between the router and my computer. It was precisely seventeen inches.
2. I plugged the only cable I had available into the router and then into my computer.
3. I got fussed at by my girlfriend because the cable I used was red and twenty-five feet long.
(She said, "That looks horrible. The color is horrible and it's a great big mess all over the damned place.")
4. I ordered this cable because it is short.
5. I waited two days for the cable to arrive at my domicile.
6. I opened the package and installed the new short blue cable where the old long red cable was.
7. I was praised by my girlfriend for using such a sensible cable.
(She said, "Wow, that doesn't look like complete hell anymore. Let's do it."
