I purchased this project so that I could plug multiple Component devices into my one input. The TV is an old Mitsu 55" that only has one input for 1080i. After hooking everything up, I think I actually noticed an improved picture from all the sources. The remote seems to work pretty well too.
Overall I would suggest this to anyone needing to share a component input.
