I took this in the car on a 6 hr road trip to go to a concert. I charged three batteries for my camera and took over 200 pix! Batteries were fully charged and stayed charged as long as expected. I only went through 1.5 batteries. I also took video and panoramic pix which uses more battery. Be careful when loading the battery. What seems to be the correct side up should instead be facing down. When loaded correctly, the pilot lamp should be red and then turn green after complete charging. If you start out having the green light on, try flipping the battery to make proper contact with the terminals.Customer Review: Works great

I had lost my Sony charger and got this one after reading all the reviews. It is way cheaper than the Sony version and it works great. I found my original charger so now I use this one as a spare but I have not noticed any difference in performance between the two chargers. I RECIEVED THIS AND AT FIRST THOUGHT THEY SENT ME THE WRONG ITEM BUT TO MY SUPRISE THIS ITEM ACUTALLY WORKS BOTH IN THE HOUSE AND IN THE CAR, WHEN I FIRST LOOKED AT IT I SAW JUST THE CONNECT TO THE CAR BATTERY AND IMMEDIATLY THOUGHT HEY THIS IS FOR THE CAR, BUT WOW WHAT A GREAT DEAL, TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONECustomer Review: Works!

I lost the camera's original charger and needed to find a replacement... this charger works just as well as the one that comes with the camera and also included a cable to hook up to the car's 12 volt outlet. Perfect!
Compared to $ 25-30 for the original this was better and a fraction of the cost!
