While this may be a non OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) brand, I put my faith in its claim of compatibility and I must say, It has not failed in delivering anything short of excellence. If value is your motive, then look no further. This is a perfect replacement for the $50.00 Sony OEM charger. It even works in a 12v car adapter, for on-the-go power. I would purchase another without hesitation.

This is an excellent product. I went to many different stores to find a replacement charger for my camera,which I lost, and they were all at least $30-$60. I then searched on here and found it for about $8!! What a difference. It works just as good,if not better, than the one the camera came with. I also love the car charger that came with it.It makes it so convenient,when you travel a lot. I would definitely recommend this product to others who use the same type of battery.Customer Review: It does work...backwards.

When I first used the charger, my battery did not charge. The charger was so inexpensive I thought it was just too cheap to work. But I called the distributor and they told me to flip the battery over so that the top of the battery was face down (the arrows would be facing the charger and the leads would still connect) and it worked fine. I was very happy to find that out because the other chargers I saw cost more than 10 times what I paid for this one. Great buy!Customer Review: It works--almost as advertised

Do heed the warnings from other reviewers. The battery installs upside down, which is counterintuitive. I got fooled because I put the battery in the'normal' way, then plugged in the charger and a green light went on. Thinking it was charged, I found I still had a dead battery. Turn the battery over, and you should get a red light when charging, green when done.
The car charger adapter is a nice touch, but I'll probably never use it

I went out to both Bestbuy and Circuit City and the original sony charger that goes with the 7.2 mp Cybershot pink digital camera were all like $60+. I decided against that obviously since im here writing a review and got this charger instead. it works perfect! It takes a shorter time to charge than its supposed to and everything. I got this one ordered and 2 day shipped and it still cost me way less than $60. its great get it instead!
