The charger came as a surprise, 'cause I thought it was going to come with a home and a car charger. But you actually get a home charger, and then a connection from the home charger to your car cigarette lighter. So even in the car, you have to have your home charger with you to charge the battery. And despite it being described as a MINI battery charger, it's really not that small at all. Overall, it was a good purchase if you want to compare it to an actual Sony battery charger. It can be used to charge at home, in your car, and it's a lot cheaper than the Sony brand.Customer Review: Replacement for original charger

I left my charger for my Cyber Shot in a hotel on vacation. I purchased a new one for $65.00 that wasn't even a Sony. It was just the only one I could find where we live and I needed it for a basketball game the next day.
This charger arrived and it is perfect. My replacement one is a piece of junk. Sure it can charge about 45 different batterys if you can keep the prongs out enough to charge. I should have ordered 2 of these just in case I lose this one. I would highly recommend this product. Thanks for the great reviews that convinced me to purchase this.

I got this because I wanted an extra charger for my Sony DSC-W80 Cyber-shot. I didn't want to spend the $50 for the name brand and the reviews on here looked good. So I splurged on this one.
Well, I was not disappointed, it works just as well as the Sony one. And because of the price I don't feel bad about taking it with me on vacation and just throwing it into my suitcase. The car charger is also a nice addition for car trips.
Overall, I would recommend to anyone that they purchase this charger rather than the Sony brand one. It is fantastic!

Recently I went to my local electronic store and purchased a universal charger that was about $50 wow!! to much for my budget. The only problem i had with it was that it charged over a 100 different batteries but i only needed it for the one. So I was a little leary considering the very cheap & reasonable price for this charger. To say the least I am very pleased with the end results and would suggest anyone needing this charger to go for it.
