My son uses this to keep his video ipod charged over night. It's convenient because he doesn't have a computer in his room, and he can listen to it in bed while it's charging. I have heard other people have had problems with this product messing up their ipods, but we haven't experienced that problem, yet, and hopefully never will. I think this a great item and should be considered for avid Ipod users. It is compatible and works well with my 2G 2nd Generation Ipod. It charges the Ipod from any wall outlet quickly and easily. It contains a red light that is lit up when plugged in so you are aware of its status. It also has a handy feature that eliminates over-charging. I had been watching at stores for a product like this, but put off by the $25-30 price tag. When I saw this I jumped on it. It arrived in 2 days, and it's wonderful! Now I just plug in my cell & iPod at the charging station at night, and know I'm always going to have a fresh charge. Only thing, I wish I would have bought about 6 of them, with kids, hubby, etc., using it too!!!Customer Review: More Than Expected

Excellent charger. Actually, charges iPod faster than advertised. Excellent product and well worth the cost. (at least from where I purchased the item) So far, I have charged my iPod several times with no problem. One day, three of us charged our iPods right after each other with no problems. I bought 6 of these chargers. They are so reasonably priced and they do the trick. I keep one in my overnight bag so I don't have to worry about the battery when traveling. I gave three of them to my nephews as extra Christmas presents so they won't have to fight over the usb ports on the computer. I still have two left, but I'm sure they'll be used or gifted soon.
