I am a not a computer expert but I was able to install the software easily. The computer booted on the first try and the machine is much faster on photo processing. I would caution anyone taking the Macbook Pro apart that the case screws are not all the same length and it is very important to put them back in the correct spot. I had concerns after reading all the mid-2009 MBP compatibility issues with third party memory and hard drives but Crucial guarantees this kit's compatibility so I gave it a try and sure enough it works. Overall the system is noticeably more responsive than with the stock 2GB which was a pleasant surprise and as expected it really shines when I'm working in LightRoom2.Customer Review: Easy Cost Effective Update

Not much to say - the upgrade to my Mac Mini took about 20 minutes (and I'm slow) and the memory works great and is inexpensive for a 4GB upgrade. The performance improvement to the Mac Mini (over the stock 1GB) is very noticeable. Excellent cost effective upgrade.

I purchased the 13" macbook pro in August 2009 & promptly opted to upgrade the ram to 4gb with this kit. Installation was a breeze. All you need is a small screwdriver to remove the screws on the bottom of the laptop & swap the RAM. Takes no more than 30minutes and makes a significant difference with photoshop, videocut, etc. No problems whatsoever.Customer Review: Cheap ( and Good) option for Mac mini upgrade

As soon as I got my mac mini, I opened with putty knife and installed this RAM. The RAM is working without any issues and serves the purpose.
There are several other RAM manufactures providing with the same price range, so you can consider other also. But this one perfectly fits for Mac mini and boosts the speed of the system.
