Pretty easy to install. The first time I did it, my computer wouldn't restart. I took the ram out and reinstalled again and made sure that they were in snugly and it started up just fine. I noticed an improvement right away. Native apps seem to boot much faster (even though it wasn't slow before), though Microsoft office apps still are annoyingly slow. It also seems to play youtube videos faster too. I'm buying a pair for my girlfriend. I can't believe apple still sells the same thing for $300!Customer Review: Value for money plus excellent service!

Amazon's offer on the Crucial 2GB Set(2x1GB) 200-Pin PC2 5300 667Mhz SODIMM DDR2 RAM was excellent. I received it almost about the time I received my confirmation for my order, or so it seemed, dropped it into my MacBook in about five minutes and was up and running with my cost effective extended memory. Boots up 16% faster than 1GB alone. Shuts down in almost half time!
Can multitask more programs with less hard drive diarrhea.
No memory leaks, easy to install, fresh in the package.
I only had to struggle for awhile trying to get it out.
All in all I give this product 5 stars!
If time is money don't do free ship. I waited nearly 2 weeks.

After purchasing a Sony Vaio laptop in Feb 2007 with the new Windows Vista Ultimate Operating system, I realzied the system was limited with only 1 GIG of Ram. This year, I purchased the additional Ram necessary (using two 1 GIG Ram Chips) and now my system flys. Also, it's not just the memory upgrade, but the chips themselves are definitely top quality. I was about to buy a 1GB set direct from Crucial but I thought I would look around for a better price. I found this set on Amazon that was twice the size for about the same price... it was a no brainer and now my aunt's laptop is blazing fast compared to what it previously was.
Just a quick note though, be sure you know what you are buying because you may get stuck with it if it's not the correct item.
