Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Crucial 2GB Set(2x1GB) 200-Pin PC2 5300 667Mhz SODIMM DDR2 RAMCustomer Review: works great Summary: 5 Stars
I installed this ram in my iMac 2.16 ghz to upgrade from 2 g ram to 3 g. The first time I installed it, the computer didn't recognize the ram. I took it out and put it back in, then pressed it into place. After that, it recognized it. The computer immediately ran faster. I was especially happy to see how well it handled a huge file that I'm editing several hours each day. It made this all-important file much more stable, and the work itself a lot more pleasant. It did exactly what you hope adding an extra gig of ram will do. I am glad I bought it.
Customer Review: Used it for 2 Dell Inspirons. Worked great. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought two of these packages and replaced four 512 MB modules that came with a Dell 1505 Inspiron and a Dell 1501 Inspiron. Dell recently changed where the RAM is located, so changing it was very easy.
After the swap, the 1505 gave a warning on boot saying system memory has I changed. I told it all it is well, and then it finished booting. The 1501 just took it and ran.
In the end, it was a 15 minute job, they both recognized it just fine, and now both laptops are cruising at 2 GB of RAM each.
Customer Review: Great Price, Great Product Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this for my Sony Vaio VGN-N110G because it's a simple yet noticeable upgrade at a time when financial limitations make it difficult to just upgrade to an entirely new laptop. It was extremely easy to insert (I say "insert" because that's literally all I did). My laptop immediately recognized the upgraded RAM. Boots up super quick, allows me to run several programs concurrently without the annoying delay that I used to experience, and shuts down immediately. I upgraded from 512MB to 2GB and would definitely recommend this product.
Customer Review: Perfect Summary: 5 Stars
I've used Crucial memory upgrades in desktops. I ordered this Crucial upgrade DDR2 RAM for my Dell XPS M140 laptop after finding it was cheaper to buy from Amazon then from Crucial direct. The install was easier than I thought. I did search and find a YouTube video on how to do it which was very helpful. Also did a search on Dell and downloaded a pdf file on how to do it. My laptop is faster now and I'm happy with the price/performance ratio. I always check Amazon first before buying almost anything. Never been disappointed so far.
Customer Review: $60 or a new computer? Do the $60. (Actually, less than that.) Summary: 5 Stars
Look, if you're not ready to pull the trigger on a new lap top, but your old one is doggin' it, invest the money and buy these chips. You can get them elsewhere, but, I found Crucial to have the best price. After installation, my old Dell Inspiron runs like it should! Barring some unforseen issue, I'm guessing I just got 1-2 more years from my lap top because of this upgrade.
Easy to self-install. Just pay attention and take your time! Take out the old, install the new, fire up, and WALLAH!
Thanks Crucial!
