Customer Review: Great Upgrade For Laptops! Highly Recommended!

Upgrading our laptops with Crucial "1gb PC2 5300 DDR2 RAM" modules have made them run much better. We replaced our two 1/2gb (for 1gb total) with two 1gb modules (for 2gb total) in our Acer Aspire 5315-2826 15.4-inch Laptop (2.13 GHz Intel Celeron M Processor, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive, Vista Home).
The upgrade was easy to install and the performance improvement has made a world of difference when using MS Office products!
My last three memory upgrades have been from Crucial and we have never had any problems.

*** UPDATE 7/30/2009 *** It seems Amazon is showing the same reviews for the 1GB modules as well as the 2GB module set. We ordered the 2GB Module Set as well and here is my review for that one as well:
The "Crucial 2GB Set" (two 1GB modules) might just have saved my marriage since my wife's laptop (Acer Aspire 4720Z) had become so slow that it was almost unusable. For some reason this became my "fault" and she threatened me with all sorts of bad things if I didn't get it working better. After doing some system checks and general optimization, with marginal improvement, I was about ready to just get her a new laptop but decided to take a chance and go the inexpensive route of adding more memory.
To ensure compatibility, I used the memory finder on Crucial's web site and then came to Amazon to make the purchase (saving a good bit in the process). The modules arrived quickly and were very easy to install. The performance improvement was significant and now I am in my wife's good graces again.
On a serious note, this is now the fifth Crucial memory upgrade I have bought for various laptops and desktops and I have never had any problems with installation or performance of their memory modules.
