Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of CH Products Throttle Quadrant USB (300-133)Customer Review: Lovely piece of equipment Summary: 5 Stars
Firm, stable, smooth operation. CH products are hard to beat. There's something really cool about grabbing a handful of throttles and easing them forward...

Customer Review: A great compliment to your flight set up! Summary: 4 Stars
I was given this as a gift for Christmas, and coupled with my rudder pedals and yoke, it is an awesome way to make your flying even more realistic. The heads are interchangable to sub as throttles, prop controls, or mixture levers, and there is a detent at about 30% of max on each one, simulating the 30% throttle setting jets need to be advanced to for stabilization before full power on takeoff. There are a tremendous amount of buttons (two settings on each one, up and down) to program. Also, the yoke from CH has been the source of much ire due to the fact that the clamps do not clamp down on especially skinny tables. That is true with my yoke, but on the same table, THIS quadrant was able to attach just fine. It seems they must have fixed that problem. Another thing, and my only complaint is there is no reverse thrust position. The throttles just go from zero to max, and unlike on a jetliner, there is no reverse position. Oh well. Still a great product.
Customer Review: It worked right out of the box Summary: 4 Stars
With Windows Vista n MS Flight Sim X it was recognized with no problem. I've only used it once (testing). The sim took longer to load, but once it started it worked very nice. I just went to the control assignment panel and reassigned the buttons that came as defaults. I hope it keeps working like that for years to come.
Took off in a Baron n tried simulated eng failures. The response was just as close as real life (remember this is a sim).
With regard to [...], 0 complaints. It was delivered in the estimated day in perfect conditions.
I'm a software engineer and multieng rated pilot.
Customer Review: Nice device Summary: 4 Stars
Bought the Quadrant/Yoke/Pro pedal combo and am pleased with the quality and performance of the Yoke and Quadrant. Im using the default settings for both and had to go to "ch hanger" (their forum) to find out what controls/buttons did what as the boxes had no instructions!Cant comment on the pro pedals as I have not used them yet but suspect they may be overkill for my purposes.Perhaps they are more suitable for the joystick? Good luck programming both units if you dont want to use the defaults... it just seemed to be too much of a pain. All in all they are worth the money.
