This item was given as a gift to my son. I was really worried about how he would react to this product, because he is already a pilot in real life. I wasn't sure if it would compare very well with the real thing. However, I have received thanks for it twice now since it was given. He stated, " that it helps his flight simulator be most realistic, because it gives him more hand and eye simulation as in a real plane. I was also worried about quality of product, but he has been quite pleased with it.Customer Review: Plan on Velcro

Plan on adding an adhesive velcro strip to the back to make the thing stable. And, if your table is thin, you might have to shim the clamps. Other than that, it's A-OK so far.Customer Review: If you're going to get a flight sim at all, get this too!

The whole point of getting a flight simulator is to enjoy flying a plane. A keyboard is NOT the way to enjoy anything and a joystick isn't much better.
The only downside is poor documentation. The only way I could identify which was the throttle, prop, and mixture control was to open the control panel for the device and see what reacts when I moved the switches. This doesn't affect my rating at all because I'm a complete newbie at flying and I figured it out soon enough. Once you understand that, its all clear flying from there.
If you're going to bother getting a flight simulator, invest in this yoke, it makes it so much better.
NOTE: My desk is a bit thinner than the clamps allow for. This was solved by slipping a ruler between the clamps and the bottom of my desk. It took up enough room to make a tight fit.

Great product. Buttons set for FS 2004 so you can just plug and play. I will be adding the rudder pedals to have the most realistic experience. The clamps don't fit my desk and the yoke constantly slips off. Will have to get another, or glue it down. It still slips off even with padding the desk with books, paper, towels, etc. Other than that, happy with product, received very quickly, in new condition. My Microsoft USB Joystick broke after five years (and it's not manufactured anymore), and I truly loved it and would never have changed. However, don't even bother wasting your money on any of the other joysticks,they don't work well.
