Customer Review: Great for Microsoft Flight Sim 2006

I bought the CH Yoke and Rudder pedals for use with Microsoft Flight Sim 2006. Its great for instrument flying training. They were easy to setup and calibrate. Unfortunately I had to buy them from another store because Amazon does not offer these to buyers who reside in Australia, but that's ok its there loss.
I'd recommend these to those people who want to understand flight or are serious about learning to fly aircraft. Simulator training at home is excellent. I would buy both the Yoke and the Rudder Pedals together and not just the Yoke separately.

My husband has a cessna 150 but is checked out on many planes which are no longer available to rent in our area. This with the pedals and the simulator he is pleased as punch. He now can fly anytime, anywhere and in all conditions. He told me it's just like flying the real deal.
ps. I bought this setup for him for Fathers Day. He has his own computer just for flying. Oh yes our grandkids just love it when he gives them a flying lesson with it.
One More Thing NOW they need to offer a reasonably priced HOOD to inhance the flying experiance.

I'm far from being a private pilot but after I took an introductory flight around Houston the bug bit me. In this flight the pilot let me fly a little cessna around once we were airborne. I rushed home and picked up MS Flight Sim along with this Yoke. When it arrived, I was amazed out how much this felt like the actually yoke I had used, minus the weight factor. It's easy to mount and move around, and configuring it on Win XP was a snap. I was very impressed with the quality of this product and will probably by the rudder pedals in the future.Customer Review: Simply Amazing

I just received my CHProducts today and I am overly impressed! When I first got it I was pretty disappointed and afraid that I would have to return it because it would not mount on my desk because it was too thin, but I was easily able to fix this with a piece of wood, a ruler, and a saw. It now mounts perfectly on my desk and works beautifully. There are plenty of buttons and it's nice that they put the throttles on there too. The only thing that would make this better would be a second hat switch, but I'm doing fine without it.Customer Review: Good product that is tougher than it looks

For the price, this is quite a nice little yoke. It is made of plastic, and does not feel super stable, but it has taken quite a bit of punishment so far from me and has proved to be quite tough--much tougher than I had first anticipated. Unlike many of the other reviewers, the built in table clamps have worked just fine for me, though I do have a very thick desk. I am quite pleased with it and would recommend it as a good, cost effective sim yoke. It's not the nicest one out there, but for price, it is great.
