OK, I'm an old private pilot who has also flown Microsoft Flight Simulator before Microsoft owned the product but with this yoke, you really really add to the realism far beyond my expectations. The size of the yoke is close to those of most 2-6 passenger planes I have flown and so the feel is right at home in your hands. What's really amazing is that with it attached to the lastest version of Simulator, most of the controls functioned right out of the box with no programing. I was constantly surprised at how easy and how fully integrated the yoke and related buttons, etc. were with the software - functionally and visually - yes visually. You pull back on the yoke and a quick view inside the cockpit shows the simulated yoke moving almost in unison - almost scarry!
Although twice the price of the Microsoft software it's well worth the price and if you are a real pilot or want to be pilot, the FAA lets you log some real hours of practice with this stuff.

I recently bought the flight sim yoke and rudder pedals from CH Products. I was a bit hesitant because you really never know what you are gonna get online. However, the customer reviews tipped the scale and I decided to buy. The ship time was excellent and I received the items in a timely fashion. I use the yoke and pedals with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and I LOVE IT! It was very frustrating flying with the keyboard buttons and not realistic flying with a fighter type joystick. The yoke and pedals simulate the flying conditions well and make the simulator very addicting. I am using this simulator to supplement my real flight training. Although not exact, it really helps reinforce previous lessons and allows me to fine tune my skills for free. I have noticed, as well as my instructor, my quick learning curve. GREAT PRODUCT!!! The whole point of getting a flight simulator is to enjoy flying a plane. A keyboard is NOT the way to enjoy anything and a joystick isn't much better.
The only downside is poor documentation. The only way I could identify which was the throttle, prop, and mixture control was to open the control panel for the device and see what reacts when I moved the switches. This doesn't affect my rating at all because I'm a complete newbie at flying and I figured it out soon enough. Once you understand that, its all clear flying from there.
If you're going to bother getting a flight simulator, invest in this yoke, it makes it so much better.
NOTE: My desk is a bit thinner than the clamps allow for. This was solved by slipping a ruler between the clamps and the bottom of my desk. It took up enough room to make a tight fit.

I really wanted a yoke for FS2004 - I use that program to practice IFR flight. When I discovered that USB yokes are $very expensive - I was very disapointed - then I found these CH products. Sure it is plastic - but it is well worth it I believe. I almost did not buy it because of reviews here, but I am sure glad I did. XP recognized the yoke right away - and there was no need for a software installation. (I guess the CD that ships with the yoke is for lesser Windows Versions). I then launched FS2004 and sure enough - it recognized the CH Yoke and had already set up all of the assignments for all buttons and levers. Took off from ORH and loved the product from that moment . . .I am sure the "real" yokes are better, but who the hell wnats to spend that much money. . . .next I plan on purchasing their rudder pedals.Customer Review: DESK SIM AS REAL AS IT GET'S

Flight Yoke from CH Products is very compact, fun, easy to set up and use outta the box, tried to use it with out rudder pedals,was ok but not realistic enough. Have both now, and am experiencing a ton of fun,can feel each axis as it is moved, allowing me to almost feel the motions of flight, very entertaining. I put my computer on a slant, mounted the yoke to the edge of the desk, removed a shelf under the desk top and have the rudder pedals in position as in any airplane, can sit for hours flying. I recommend CH Products, yoke construction, rudder pedal construction seam well suited together, movement of both is smooth,& precise.plus the price is right....... Oh Yeah, the Clamps to hold down the yoke to a desk are included, had to find a a wood block tho, to take up the space between desk and
