I threw away the blue part/keychain almost instantly, keeping the actual USB connector. It is so small I now keep it in my wallet with an encrypted 8gb card at all times. It is absolutely perfect for my needs, and came free with purchase of a 16gb card now in my phone, so I can't complain.
The USB connector has now been in my wallet across 3 continents. It has gotten damp, thrown around, and sat on. (I'm sitting on it right now in my wallet as I type.) It keeps the card safe and still works perfectly about a year later.
