This cable serves the purpose and is just working fine for me for more than a month. Now I can easily connect my Ipod to my car Audio through 3.5 mm Audio Aux. I bought this because the standard 3.5 mm jack wouldn't work on my itouch without taking the acrylic case off which defeats the purpose of having the case in the first place. It"s a great item for me for that reason. Soundwise it's exactly the same. Just easier to use!Customer Review: Best Device

I didnt want to buy the Bose Speakers made just for the Ipod because I wouldnt be able to use the ($300.00!) speakers for anything else. So I bought regular Bose Speakers (that I can also use with my TV, computer . . . etc) and this Cable for my Ipod- perfect!Customer Review: I only wish I had found this sooner.

I can't recommend this product enough. The sound quality is much better than using a 3.5mm cable from the iPod headphone jack to your input. The cable size is also perfect for use in the car. No more 6ft cables hanging in the car for this guy!Customer Review: Great product!!!

This iPOD audio only connector is excellent...
- Saves iPOD battery when in playback
- Audio quality is much better than using the headphone outlet
- Since it doesn't charge your iPOD, it prolongs overall battery life
