Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Cables To Go 35508 iPod-Compatible 3.5 mm to Dock Connector Audio Cable (4 Feet)Customer Review: Works great in the car! Summary: 5 Stars
This cable is fantastic! Is compatible with my 5G iPod with video. I was previously using a Belkin transmitter that came from the Apple store - cost about $70 and worked well. Downside of using the transmitter is while traveling I'd have to change the station several times due to static. With the auxiliary cable I have clear sound at all times, plus I've noticed improved sound quality/louder volume. Downside to this cable is that it doesn't charge the iPod, as many others have said, but that makes sense considering that it doesn't plug into the power outlet...
Customer Review: Why was is so hard to find?? Summary: 5 Stars
I have been looking from store to store for this cable. Everyone I spoke to all said " Its not available! They haven't market it yet " Well finally I decided to take matters on my own, and browsed through Amazon.com and there it was! I like this dock connector, and the advantage is that you adjust the volume completely from your radio, versus balance volume from Ipod and radio. The only downfall is, it only comes in 4 ft length. My personal need is really just 1 ft. Waste of cable. Say let me know if a 1 ft is available, I will buy it.
Thank You
Customer Review: Easy to Use, Great Sound Summary: 5 Stars
This cord does exactly what it promises - it easily connects your iPod to your car's AUX input and delivers quality sound for a low price. My iPod (5th Gen) sounds just as good on my car radio using this cord as it does in its dock at home or through the headphones when I'm walking.
This is the second of these cords that I've owned. The first cord I broke - it was my fault, not a product defect at all. I slammed the console on the cord one too many times. I'm more careful now to make sure the cord is completely in the console before closing it.
Customer Review: Thank you!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I just bought a car and while searching, as lame as it may be, one of my 'must haves' was an ipod adapter. The car I bought had a plug in in the center console. I knew what I needed to purchase but I was getting scared when I couldn't find the product at best buy or circut city. I was a little skepticle also by how cheap the product was but when I got it just last week and plugged it in it did exactly what I wanted and sounded ALOT better than the previous cassette adapter I was using. Great product!!!
Customer Review: perfect, cheap fix for great sound! Summary: 5 Stars
The stereo shop said it would cost $1800 to hook my ipod up to my Range Rover Sport. The dealer showed me the AUX input jack in the back of the center armrest behind the driver seat...plugged this in and it works great! Much clearer than the FM transmitter I've been using. The only downside is that it doesn't charge the IPOD. $5 vs. $1800....ha ha stereo shop! Buy this if you want a very simple way to hook up your ipod using your AUX button on stereo for crystal clear sound.
