It's good toner that will last you a while. I just want to reiterate a tip someone else wrote in though. If you cover the holes on the side with electrical tape, you can 'trick' the printer into printing the rest of the toner that's left in the cartridge. Have you noticed when the printer says low on ink, the last page it printed out was still perfectly printed? It means you've still got toner left because the printer measures toner level by flashing a light into the holes, which is not at the bottom. I know this tip saved my butt when I was trying to print some last minute college papers as well as the difference between the store price and the price found here.Customer Review: WHAT THE HECK? It seems that a lot of people here are reviewing the SELLER and not the product - and reviews of all the SELLERS are mish-mashed into this area. That makes NO SENSE!
The second thing that makes NO SENSE is writing a product reviews of a toner cartridge that you either need for your machine or you don't. (Unless, of course, it is a review of a REFURBISHED cartridge.)
I sure wish Amazon would somehow make this more SENSIBLE!
By the way, I bought a new cartridge from Amazon - it was great, a great value, and Amazon shipped it fast. Don't buy 'em from anyone else!

This is a more expensive way of buying toner initially. But as someone whose bought off brand cartridges in past; I wouldn't go back to using them. It's tempting to save the money up front but you lose that savings when the cartridge craps out well short of its projected output. My experience with Brother toner has been very good. And lastly they give you a prepaid Fedex return sticker that allows you to return your empty cartridge for recycling. That sticker allows you to return several Brother toner cartridges by taping the boxes together with the one box with a sticker on it. A nice touch.Customer Review: Arrived quickly, good capacity

Printer cartridge arrived separately, fast delivery. Working great, no complaints. Cheaper than in-store price with free shipping. Always good to have a backup toner cartridge, you always run out of ink when you need it most! Not much luck with non-oem brands, stick with the Brother brand, the cost savings per page isn't worth the print quality you'll lose. Lasts a long time, been a few months, with 2 people printing a lot in a small home office, and just replaced the starter cartridge, expect the full cartridge to last twice as long, 6 months, which is above average for our use.Customer Review: Perfect Product - Solid Amazon Pricing

I go through about 3 of the cartridges a year. I only use the Brother cartridge because I don't want any surprises with a generic cartridge.
Amazon's pricing with free shipping can't really be beat - and once again, I don't want to make a drama out of making a purchase so I bought it here on Amazon.
No surprises and no drama - let's be real, it is only a toner cartridge - so I keep it easy and buy the brother cartridge for my brother printer and buy it at amazon with free shipping for a fast no non-sense/no surprise transaction.
