Customer Review: Works great, perfect for a smart phone

I use this adapter to access the SanDisk 8GB microSDHC Card CLASS 2 (SDSDQ-8192, Bulk Package) on my smart phone. This way I can use the cell phone's encryption function to protect the useful but sensitive information (pay stubs, receipts, address book, and such) but I can also keep some other items (like service manuals for work, notes, part numbers and such) unencrypted. That way I can plug the card and adapter into any PC and access the non-private data without endangering the sensitive data. If I left the sensitive data unencrypted, I'd be leaving myself open to identity theft.
To do this I load the sensitive information onto the card using activesync. Then I load the stuff I don't want encrypted by putting the card into the adapter and loading it directly. Now I have both security for my sensitive files and easy accessibility to other useful but nonsensitive data using any PC. It's uber cool!
By the way, I'm a mechanic and I like to keep service manuals, bulletins and other data, all at my fingertips using my smartphone, but I also like to have access to that data (especially detailed wiring diagrams) using a larger screen, like on a laptop. This adapter is working perfectly for that purpose. I can't believe how inexpensive it is. I'm buying a second one so I'll have one at home and one at work.
