This took about 30 minutes to install and configure. Simply attach the sensor to your outside electric meter (works with both the analog dial style and the newer digital meters), synch the sensor with the display, and enter your electric rate. The display worked on the opposite side of the house from the sensor. It tracks consumption w/ about a 10 second delay. It display both the current cost of power consumption and the cumulative cost since the last manual reset. As a bonus, it also displays the outside temperature.Customer Review: Electric monitor

I ordered the Blue Line power monitor to evaluated my electrical use, it has worked flawlessly and gives me an accurate and instant reading of how much electricity I am using and have used. Took about 30 minutes to hook up. After getting out my elect. bill, I figured how much I was paying per KW, entered it into the computer and everything was done. This low cost device gives a way to track the electric use at home. With the HIGH cost today it is a great way to reduce the overall electric bill. The setup is a bit complex. I was able to setup this unit in a few steps.
