I bought this mouse 2 weeks ago to use with my laptop and after initially getting used to its size, have been enjoying a lot.
First off, it is the perfect mouse to accompany your laptop - if you are not into wireless mouses of course - because of the mini size and the retractable cable that hooks to your USB. I still haven't figured out how to activate the stopper on this one, but after 2-3 tries I usually get it to the length I need to avoid irksome cable. The Belkin mini shape and agility is my main thrill, however - the curve fits my thumb quite comfortably and clicking and scrolling down are a pleasure. Works perfectly on any surface - you don't need a mouse pad at all. Other reviewers alert that if the tiny pads on its belly fall off, the mouse loses its precision and agility. I haven't had this problem yet, but am keeping this in mind.
So I highly recommend this mini mouse. The first couple of days the size feels awkwardly small, but once you get used to it, you will detest having to use the giant by comparison normal mouses. And, best of all, when you travel, it can fit anywhere and it attracts attention with its unusual size and cuteness :).
