this item is probably the greatest product you can buy for your car/ipod, it charges the battery (fast) and you don't have to install software to work with the ipod, i have an accord and the neck stretched around the gear change to where i don't have to take my eyes off the road all i have to do is take one hand off the wheel and press the next button to change the song, i'd reccomend (for the sake of the person in front of you's car's bumper) if the song's towards the end of your library to scroll when at a stop/intersection, this product is awesome it has little(when in a more busy area like downtown)/no static . you should buy this , i also posted 3 pictures of my setup in the customer pictures sectionCustomer Review: Convenient and easy to use

This cradle gave me a great way to use my Ipod in various cars. When plugged in, it stands straight up like you see in the photo. The tuner works well in rural areas but in cities where there are lots of FM stations, it fades out. If you have a cassette player in your car, buy an audio cassette adapter for about $10 to use with this product--you'll get interference free output. I strongly recommend this Belkin product. This accessory for my daughter's iPod was just what she wanted.
It is a grayish-black, which blends well with the interior of her car. The flexible arm is easy to position, yet sturdy and strong and came with little "sleeves" to help it fit well into the socket in the car. Since it tunes through the iPod, you just read the iPod screen, instead of having to look on the tuner somewhere. Since my daughter uses the iPod in my car and hers, I have seen first-hand how well it works. A friend recently saw it and liked it so well, she bought the same one for her iPod.

This is the best fm tuner i've had yet. Yes its not perfect but no FM tuner will ever be. The only way to get perfect reception is to plug your iPod directly into your radio. I've read other reviews that say it falls apart instantly and it sucks blah blah blah but if you are careful you WON'T have that problem. It is a really tight fit into my cigarette lighter but I take care when inserting and taking out the tuner and I've never had a problem. Laso, even though it doesnt say that it is compatible with a 4th Gen nano it has a insert for it but it doesnt charge it.Customer Review: Belkin TuneBase FM Tuner

This was a replacement for my original. I inadvertantly pulled the tuner out too hard and some of the parts came loose and were lost. Since I was lost without my nano=and priceless tunes, I reordered a new Belkin TuneBase. Same Item exactly and am taking care when I disconnect! This is a well made, nice looking Tuner-exactly like the one I damaged. With proper care installing and removing from the electrical connector, there should be no problem in this apparatus lasting a long time.! I give it five thumbs up!!!!!!!!
