I bought one for my wife and one for myself in December 2006. It does what is suppose to. We both use an optical mouse and never had problems. The gelly part is super good and soft, it really relaxes your hand when you have to use the mouse for along period of time...

I was having wrist problems, so I got this mousepad. It supports my wrist as I use the mouse. It is comfortable. It did take me about an hour to get used to it. This is a really nice, comfortable mouse pad (gel-filled) which allows your wrist to rest on it, while using the mouse. It takes the pressure off your wrists and makes it much easier & smoother to use the mouse.
