My friend and I both bought printers from the same company at about the same time. Both our computers are connected to the printers by a USB Cable. It seems strange that the cables would both give us trouble at the same time, but they did. Now that the new cables have been installed they are both up and running. Great USB cable. It works well connecting my laptop to the Brother printer. No problems at all. Love the low price and free shipping over $25! Why pay $30 - $40 at a brick and mortar store for the same cable?
Some reviewers had mentioned taking much time in receiving the cable. I ordered directly from Amazon (not from one of its features sellers) and got the cable in a week. I highly recommend this product.

I use it to hook my keyboard piano to my laptop. I'm sure I might use it with other stuff too. It works. It doesn't look like it's going to break any time soon. It's not terribly cheap for a cable. You can pick up a comparable cable from monoprice for about $1.50, but hey, if you're looking for that free super saver shipping like I was and you're just a few dollars away why not pick this up? This cable works perfectly and the dealer, Ace Photo Digital, gave a surprisingly low price ($6.07) plus FREE shipping! I ordered and paid for a 10' cable and they sent me a 16' cable - even better! It seems quite sturdy, both the cord insulation and the plug ends. I expect it will last longer than my previous 6' cable which cost $25 at Office Depot, was not delivered to me and was not worth it. It's a shame you have to buy cables when purchasing printers. Fine if you are junking one and buying another-the cables are universal. But I gave away the printer with the cable of course, so needed to buy a new cable for the replacement printer. This product was a better price through Amazon than at the retailer. I did have to wait a few days for delivery, but it was worth it so save a few bucks.
