Customer Review: Keeps Your Computer Very Cool, no Problems Here

First off, this is the only cooling fan I have ever used for a laptop, so my comparisons to other cooling devices for laptops are pretty limited. With all that said, this is what I got and after using it, I am very pleased that is worked very well with my Macbook 13 Inch (White, early 2008). This is not quite a must buy for all laptops, but for all those who have heating problems with their laptops, this is recommend. It cooled my computer with ease.
The design of this, I think, is what sets it apart. Other cooling fans don't offer that much circulation of air (many of them only elevate the computer with four nubs), but it's unique design makes sure the circulation of air is a sure thing. Heat exits out from below the computer and into the air, while the cool air The fan itself is pretty powerful as well, although there is a little noise with it. It's not totally loud, so it's more of a humble background noise than anything else. The design of the product (the aesthetic, that is), coupled with the formidally powerful fan, made the heating problem seem almost obsolete! The left side of my computer generated little heat, but the center of the computer was completely cool! It sured worked for me!
I also personally had no problems with keeping my computer elevated with little slipping and sliding. As a matter of fact, I type much better and more comfortably using this, so it doubles nicely as an aid for typing.
One thing though, this cooling pad is NOT for larger computers. If you computer is bigger than mine (13 inch white Macbook), the chance of it fitting is zero. You will want to look at BelkinF5L028LaptopCoolingLounge(White) instead. Larger but roughly the same design wise.
I do feel that this cooling pad is not quite a "Must Buy" objectively. It's not totally essential. This costs quite a bit of money, and if your computer doesn't have much of a problem with heating, you might want to save your money and invest it elsewhere. It really kind of depends on the computer you have. I understand that some computers really benefit from external cooling, when internal cooling is not enough. If you computer has the problem go out and purchase this. Personally, my Macbook generally an uncomfortable amount of heat, so I had to purchase this, and it surely helped. Still, it comes down to your decision and just how much your computer needs it. If you answered "yes", get this cooling pad.
PS, I understand some people have been complaining about the supposed shoddy craftsmanship, so if the cooling pad breaks, I will update this review with details of what happened, as well as letting everyone know how long my cooling pad lasted. I bought it a couple days ago, so there is a chance this may not last. Either way, I will update this review if something happens.
