I bought this item the christmas before last when my kids gave me my laptop computer. It is wonderful, last year my daughter was here from Los Angeles and used it and loved it so I sent her one for her birthday. She and her husband both use it and find it. Her laptop is a larger model and this item is reversable for the l5inch models and l8 in models it works great for both sizes.
I would recommend this to anyone.

I just paid $15 for this new. This works great. Perfect added height, just soft enough on your lap, yet sturdy enough to allow fan's air flow.
I'm really happy that I didn't buy the "silver foldable plastic" or bean-bag bottom heavy weights. My laptop cord is now routed through the middle cubby and no longer in the way. Since I go cordless at times, I didn't want any more power draw with an additional usb connected fan.

I love this item. It has alleviated much of my back and neck pain while working on the computer. My husband often uses it as well, so I need to get him one! This lap table keeps the heat off your legs and provides ample air flow for my laptop vents. I appreciate the color choices, and the blue/brown matches our living room color scheme. I even use it in the car while traveling and take it with me when traveling for work.

I needed something that would fit level in my lap while I typed papers and did work on my computer.. A couch cushion/pillow wasn't doing the trick. This cushtop keeps my legs cool and my computer upright. I can sit on my bed for hours and not worry about feeling uncomfortable.. I would highly recommend to anyone who spends a lot of time on the computer but doesn't like to always sit at a desk.. Great product!!Customer Review: don't buy a laptop without buying this as well

this stand rules. I use it EVERY time I turn on my laptop. It is way easier to work, type, etc plus my legs don't catch on fire from the bottom of my laptop anymore. The slits on the side are great because you can pick up the whole thing with the computer on it and it's like having 2 handles. It's not very good for travel though because it is large, and solid. But overall it is an excellent product.
