Best travel surge protector I've had. Yes it is a tad larger then I expected but it's not so big you can't just throw it right into your laptop bag without a second thought. It has a nice sturdy feel to it too. This thing really goes with me everywhere. It's the perfect compliment to any laptop bag.
The only single complaint I could possibly come up with for this is that the button you push in to swivel it around, seems like the spring behind mine is too heavy for it's own good. Have to really jam it in there which isn't all that easy when your fingers are larger then the hole the button goes in to. Then you have to hold it in while you move the plug around till you get it in the position you want. Not too big a deal though. I've just positioned the thing so the device plugs into a wall outlet horizontally and I doubt I'll ever need to reposition it again.

Have had this product for a couple of weeks and used it on two plane trips and many times to the cafes. I have an G51JX-A1 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop which was quite the investment so I bought this product to help protect it and I think it already saved my laptop. At the airport waiting for my flight, I had it plugged in. I was so immersed in what I was doing on my laptop that I didn't notice the cleaning crew came in to one side of me and had plugged in many of their devices. A guy using the second outlet on the wall commented that his screen flickered a bit but mine did not.
Definitely provided more than a peace of mind.

If you have ever setup shop in a hotel room (and when I mean shop, I mean a laptop, iPhone, MiFi, etc.) you are usually faced with a single outlet that is in a horrible place. For for less than a price of a room service meal, you can have 3 outlets and 2 USB power outlets. Seriously, the hotels should just put one of these on your pillow as a complimentary gift.
Also, if you do any speaking or presenting, having one of these in the bag will help when you get a single extension cord to the podium. You won't have to go running around for another extension cord or bother the AV tech.

I got the surge protector with only 3 outlets due to the fact that I didn't want to overload a socket. The 2 USB ports have proven to be very valuable as both of the USB ports ended up breaking on my computer, so now I can charge my MP3 player without having to plug it into my computer. Belkin offers a lifetime warranty on this product, and if you have a power surge and it blows out the protector all you have to do is mail it back to Belkin and they will replace it for free! This successfully charged my iPod Nano, Nuvi GPS, compact Energizer battery charger, and Motorola RazR. I appreciated the rotating plug feature; the main improvement I would seek is a folding plug that would make for a more compact package while travelling. The provided plug protector can be secured to the mini-USB cable, and is otherwise at risk for loss. I found the potential to eliminate several chargers or running my laptop solely to charge portable devices a welcome addition to my travel kit.
