I went to a local outlet of a national chain we all know to buy a 6 foot digital optical audio cable. Their price was $27.99. Checked Amazon.com, where found this one for just over $6.00. These were a fraction of the price at my local store and after recieving them can say that even their feel and appearance are high quality. This cable works OK, its just my TV. Was hoping to get digital sound from anything that is connected to the TV, but my TV only sends digital audio for whats connected to the component in ports. ( vcr, games systems) Had to still use the old red and white cable to get surround sound from the TV broadcasts.Customer Review: 100% satisfaction

Used the cable to connect my Vizio Sound bar to the plasma TV; apprehensive about reports of connection not being 'tight' enough and cable unplugging easily. Not an issue at all, had no problems, the cable works beautifully, the whole installation was a breeze.
Highly recommend the product.

I needed to connect my new Yamaha receiver to the cable box and to the HD DVD player. Cables arrived on time and had been working flawlessly for more than 3 months now. These are excellent cables for a reasonable price (definitely much better price than in my local electronics super store).
