It fits the iPod Touch 2g perfectly, with no excess but no feeling of it strangling the device either. The feel of the device in hand is perfect - nice amount of grip and much more than the iPod without a case, but not as much as many cases. In my opinion, it feels better with the case on - it's softer, plus the 2g is just too thin to be comfortable in the hand without a case. However, it doesn't add much bulk - it brings it from the spec 8.5mm to (by my measurement) 11.2mm, both at the thickest point.
I have the black/blue package. The black is what you would expect, and the blue is quite pleasant - I could tell you that it's just like the picture, but with monitor color profiles being what they are that would be completely meaningless. It's a nice color, however, and that's about the most precise description I can give. The blue is slightly translucent - the wifi antenna area shows through a tiny bit in direct light, but most of the time it looks solid.
The buttons work fine through the case - slightly harder to press, but not bad. I have nothing to dock the iPod with beyond the PC through the included cable, so I can't say whether you will have to take this off when using it with a stereo or other accessory.
Overall I would recommend it for those looking for protection from everything but high drops. Please note that there is no screen protector in the package. Add a third party screen protector and you have pretty good protection all around.

Anyone who has an iPod Touch can tell you that the thing collects fingerprints, smudges and scratches extremely easily. If left unprotected, it will become scratched by the end of the first few minutes of use. As soon as you put the thing down on a table, slide it around a bit, hand it to someone... you're toast.
Belkin has released this really nice 2-pack of silicone sleeves for the iPod touch that effectively protect your iPod case from getting all messed up. the screen is the only exposed area and that is easily cleaned up with any lens cloth or Apple provided cloth.
I like to keep things shiny and new for as long as possible so this case is a really great product for facilitating that. After pricing some of the other alternative products, some of them leather, I kept coming back to this because it was the perfect solution for me and didn't cost an arm and a leg.
I like the fact that they've included 2 sleeves in the package. It just so happens that both my wife and I have iPod Touches, so each of our iPod's is protected now. Otherwise, it's cool to be able to change the "look" of your iPod with a different color every once in a while.
It's a great product, seems quite durable and aids in the holding of the iPod touch by providing a bit of grip.

Ok. I bought this case when I bought my iPod Touch. It shipped fast, coming before the iPod so I could have the case ready to slip on out of the box. I liked it, great silicone feel, dropped it a couple of times, protected, the back is completely still chrome and almost no scratches. It also protected it from COMPLETE disaster. This is the advantage of silicone over other plastic cases that have cracks in them that don't absorb shock AT ALL but people seem to buy them:don't. So, after a month of good use (always had it on, never ever have I ever turned off my iPod with the case off. I have never held down the sleep button until off ever without the case, thats how much I had it on) I had it syncing face side down (because the case has a flat bottom for that) so I wouldn't see the distracting iPod screen while syncing, and I turned around and my WHOLE glass of orange juice spilled on the damn thing. Well, I was like "Oh, $#!T!" and I picked it up, cleaned up the orange juice and the case was covered with the OJ. I picked it up, took the case off, the iPod was immaculate. I washed the case, dried it, and slipped it back on, like nothing happened. Even if the iPod survived, the case saved me from a *ahem* sticky situation.Customer Review: Awesomenessicity!!!! I purchased these Belkin Silicone Sleeves along with my purchase of my iPod Touch 2g. I mean, it makes sense dont it? [...] When I received my order..the first thing I did was open these Belkin Silicone Sleeves and put one on my iPod Touch. These are like an extended guarantee (not really, but they do gaurantee the extension of your iPod Touches lifespan in my opinion) and they look REALLY nice on the Touch. They dont bulk up the size of the iPod too much like other cases/sleeves can.[...] For a TWO PAAAAACCKK! Yeah, seriously. One black and one blue. I didnt really like the blue one but, WHATEVER! $4.99 is not expensive at all when you consider you just purchased an iPod Touch for [...] So, do the right thing and protect your investment!!!! Bought the sleeve case(s) for a new iTouch 8Gig, and have since moved it to a 32Gig. I have used it in conjunction with a film screen protector. The case is ridiculously easy to put on and remove. The case adds very little bulk to the device and makes it very easy to grasp. All the plugs are totally accessible. Long term durability remains to be seen, but the pack contains 2 cases, although I would have preferred that both be black. I tend to doubt that it would prevent damage in the event of a real hard drop. Overall, the price was right and it does the job. I would recommend or buy again.
