Customer Review: Very comfortable, but wears out quickly

I love this thing. After trying a fellows gel wrist pad that felt like a rock, this one is perfect for my needs. It is very soft and very comfortable. If I don't have it with me I can start to feel it in my wrists very quickly.
The only problem I had was that after about 6 months of use, the cloth cover on it started to come off. It still works fine, but it is annoying and I'm ordering another one.

I've been using this gel pad for about a year. Not too long after I got it, I noticed that the middle part of it was developing a bubble/wrinkle and eventually split at the seam after about 9 months. I can only guess this was because I would occasionally rest my elbow on it as I was leaning forward to read the screen.
I plan to replace it with this same product.

This is an amazingly comfortable pad. I really have trouble when I don't have it with me. However, after 6 months of use the cloth covering the gel part started to come off.
