Customer Review: Great Photoshop Accessory

I haven't played a computer game in 25 years (really!), but I love this game pad nevertheless. I use it with Photoshop. I wanted to be able to keep my right hand on the mouse, as it was slowing me down moving my hand between the keyboard and the mouse all the time.
I have programmed the n52 Speedpad with a combination of single keys (such as Shift, Ctrl, Alt, Del, +, - and the left and right square brackets) and multiple key combinations (corresponding with frequently-used Photoshop keyboard shortcuts). Rarely do I need to use the keyboard any more - just to enter file names and rename layers.
The n52 Speedpad is a great Photoshop accessory. I can work faster and more comfortably. It takes up very little desk space, doesn't cost much, and works exactly as advertised. Highly recommended!

I have two of these wonderful game pads, however, like at least one other reviewer I use them for work.
As an architect I am dedicated to my CAD programs and their constant need for keyboard and mouse input. My left hand was always a bit at sea, even with one and two stroke key commands for the CAD programs until I learned of these game pads. Love to say it was an original thought, but I read about it in a magazine.
Anyway I have it programmed for AutoCAD and Revit and it's a joy to use. Must admit that I stay on one level of key commands--decided my elder brain couldn't handle moving up and down between levels.
Well just another pitch to those who haven't thought outside the gaming box about these game pads.

I was unstopable as a Jedi in Starwars Galaxies. In COH I can run circles around you. You will feel defenseless against me. The reason is this controller. Fully programmable and allows you to run a variety of macros that you create. The fit isn't adjustable but works well for my large hands. This replaces the need for a keyboard for all but typing messages.
Some people can't get use to it and I'm afraid one day they will stop making it. If you give it time you won't be able to play without.
When people talk about the gamers edge. This is it. This is also a solid well made unit. Mine performs like it was new after 2 years.

If the title isnt enough, I strongly recommend getting this little device. It takes a bit to get use to but after you do you will wonder how you lived without it. I am probably twice as good with the speedpad than without. The thing that sets this item apart from all the others out there is the thumb directional pad. This one item gives a tremendous amount of flexability to your gaming. I could go on and on about how many great benefits this item offers but I will conclude with, I have owned about 5 other left hand gaming devices, including the Cyber Snipa, Saitek, Ideazon and a few others, but this one is consistantly the best. I can never go back to using a keyboard for games again. the software is simple to use for setting up macros and keybinding for individual games. it will load your 'Loadout' when you fire up a game so you dont need to change it everytime. now to the bast feature. you can have 4 different profiles for a single game and switch between them wile playing by setting a hotkey on the pad. thus the little red, green, and blue lights by the little space bar. now for a tip for thoes of you that allready own one. The palm rest is adjustable for a bigger hand, Just pull up on the wrist rest and it will pop out then you'll see eight holes, use the back set for a bigger hand.
