I got this item after reading some of the other reviews while searching for the perfect ipod charger for my car. Belkin definitely makes some of the best products for ipods and would definitely recommend this item for anyone. The Mobile Power Cord is useful if you are going on a long trip. Not many of us go on trips longer then a few hours though so just remember that the iPod does have a 15 hour battery life (yeah right) so unless you are driving to Canada you won't need this accessory.Customer Review: When your iPod battery loses its memory

I had the previous version of this and it looks like it's been through a war...but it still charges my ipod like a champ! Very durable and works well. A must-have if you want to use your ipod on car trips!
