This product is great. Top mounted usb ports get in the way of using the other outlet, so you have to turn it sideways (easily done) if you have room (not always possible).Customer Review: Works perfectly

Not sure what else I can say about it. It just works. I've been using it to charge my iPod (touch) and my Jawbone. No issues at all. A five year old can use it.
