I bought this for home use so the size wasn't that big of a deal but it's also not that big if you need to travel with it. Keep in mind this is stictly 120V and not 220V compatible. What I liked about this product is the fact it doesn't have a wire dangling off of it yet it has 3 grounded and surge protected outlets along with two USB ports. The little green LED is cool too and the unit is stylish. This unit is perfect for supplementing your main surge protector when you run out of outlets which was my case. I didn't want to buy a 2nd large power strip/surge protector with a long wire attached because I didn't need that many outlets so this is perfect. This thing can also swivel 90 degrees so you can plug it into the wall vertically or horizontally.Customer Review: Perfect for laptop users.

Although I don't recommend traveling with this guy, it comes in handy around the home or office. Here's how I use it:
1 USB port for the iPod
1 USB port for my Motorola cellphone (USB-miniUSB charging system)
1 Outlet for my Laptop
1 Outlet for my External Hard Drive
1 Outlet for a light or something.
You're probably wondering, does the surge protector work? YES, 2 surges pounded this poor little fella in the space of an hour. He's still working, without filing for workers comp.!
Travel is possible, but this guy takes a bit of room in bags, so don't be shocked if you cant fit as much in when you travel with him!

Great device...charges usb devices and allows you to plug other devices in. I keep one in my bag for on the go....
I used to carry 2 phone chargers for usb...now I just plug one usb cable into the usb slot and it charges both of my devices. This actually saved space in my BAG...unheard of.
Awesome device...and a name like belkin behind it means you can rest assured your power is clean and your devices protected.

When my entire family bought ipod touch 3G's to replace our earlier generation ipods and nanos, we found that every charger we owned was incompatible with the newer devices. We tried our car chargers, iHome stereos, etc but nothing would charge it except a PC with USB cable. We bought some other chargers online and at the mall that claimed to work with ipod touch 3G but they were also a disappointment. This Belkin charger worked like a charm on our ipods and we can also use it with 3 of our phones that use USB cables for charging. If you have an ipod touch 3G, you have found your new wall charger.Customer Review: Excellent Travel Accessory

I purchased this to replace the bulky travel adapters that I use for a multitude of gadgets and it fits that role very well. Although it is a little larger than expected, it has still reduced the amount of bulk that I carry. Charges my iPhone very well using the standard cable and I have purchased a few other usb cables for charging as well so devices like my Kindle and PSP can both charge from it as well. It's also nice to have the extra outlets in a hotel room that is stingy with such things. I would like to see USB ports for charging added to more devices in th future.
