the belkin hi-speed usb 2 7 port mobile hub seems to work just fine. I bought it because I needed a fourth usb 2.0 hub for a 1TB backup drive to use with Time Machine on my MAC which only has 3. I haven't noticed any issues so I suppose it's working fine. The Time Machine program runs totally in the background, so I'm guessing all is well.Customer Review: Great product

This is a great 7 port hub. It takes up very little space on my desk, yet it is very functional. I'm able to transfer files just as fast as if I was plugged into the usb ports on my computer. The only downside is the power cable is short. You will need an outlet or power strip near by. Overall, I love it...100% satisfied.Customer Review: Great product

This is a great product, simple to use and has worked perfectly. I work full time from home so have many things that require access and use almost all of the ports and have had no issues with it at all. I like other reviewers would prefer the power cord to be a bit longer but this is remedied with a power strip anyway.Customer Review: good hub

works great. have no problems. all items (printers, ipods, mouse transmitter, camera interface) all work with no problems.
only problem i had, once, was i didn't realized i had to have the hub connected to the computer for the hub to charge the ipod, once i figured this out, i had no problems.

The hub works as expected. One time it failed to initialize after a reboot, but for the following 2 weeks it has worked flawlessly.
The external power supply allows me to charge my iPod and Blackbeery phone easily. It's the reason I bought this model over similarly priced competitors.
