Customer Review: No Isues
Summary: 5 Stars
I will temper this by saying I am at two months so I hope I am not cursing myself. Other reviews have coved this hub in depth so I will talk about the issues I am NOT having.
#1 - I have no problem using all 7 ports. I have 3 regular USB hard drives, one bus powered (uses two ports) hard drive, an SD card reader and an iPhone plugged in and all work just fine. I bought this hub specifically because it was powered so I could use the portable hard drive. For what ever reason Apple under powers their USB ports so bus powered drives dont work.
#2 - I dont have an iPad but my iPhone 3G works just fine both syncing and charging.
#3 - Even with all 7 ports in use I have not had mine overheat.
#4 - No issues with the plug.
#5 - Not an issue but something that is not obvious in the documentation - the power supply is 110/220v automatic. I travel a lot so this was a big deal to me.
Overall I am very happy and hope I get lots of use out of it.
