I looked for various computer lap pads for a month before buying this one. The angled design is brilliant, not only because it fits both 15.4" and 17" laptops, but because it accommodates many sitting/lying positions while still remaining ergonomic allowing you to flip it around when the keyboard needs to be elevated more. The pocket designed for the power box is marginally useful, only because I need the full length of the cable so I can work in many locations and positions. I injured my back and have a hard time sitting at a regular computer desk. Sometimes I just need to lay down, but I still want to do work. This pad lets me do that. I do wish the fabric was a bit more non-slip or there were some sort of indentations or risers to keep the laptop in place. But all in all, I'm extremely satisfied. I wish there were more color choices as well.Customer Review: A must for couch surfing!

I have 2 laptop holders that I use constantly. This one is perfect for sitting on the couch or floor. I love being able to tuck the tv remote and a notebook and pen in the center. I was worried about the fabric staying clean but another review said it was easy to clean so I ordered it, with 3 kids, 4 dogs and many cats I have to say so far (2 months) everything has brushed right off and it still looks brand new. I liked it so much I got the Belkin Laptop Hider! Belkin Laptop Hideaway (Chocolate/Tourmaline)
It's very stable and just the right height. My laptop runs warm (sony vaio) but I never ever feel it with this holder.

I just got my first laptop in July. After using it on my lap with shorts on I felt the heat on my legs & had to sit in one position. I researched Notebook Stands online & found this one made by Belkin which I know is a good product because of other Belkin products I have purchased. It was just what I wanted. I ordered it & got it a few days later. No more heat on my legs & I can sit in different postions. I've never had my laptop shut down due to overheating. I have a Dell Inspiron with a 15.6-inch display. If I want to I can use my laptop on the 15" side or the 17" side. The 17" side has a bit more room. This was the second Belkin CushTop I bought. The first was for my husband for his birthday, I liked it so much, I ordered one for myself. Soft and comfortable yet firm enough to fully support your laptop without any sinking or movement. Being able to flip it for a larger or smaller laptop works great. I was also very impressed by the "grab" between the laptop and the surface of the CushTop, no slipping at all. Even getting up and setting it down, I don't have to worry about the laptop going anywhere. Best product for the price I have purchased in a LONG time.Customer Review: Notebook Stand

I read several of the reviews before purchasing this stand and was concerned but thought I would try it anyway. It turned out to be a great product. Other reviewers mentioned that their computers still get hot. I have not had that problem. It is the perfect size for my laptop. And I like the little storage pocket for cords and the mouse. My laptop stays in place and does not slide. I use this product daily. It brings my laptop up to a good height so that I am not constanly straining my neck. I cannot find anything negative re this product.
