I am a fairly technical person, but like others, I found the initialization process challenging. The biggest barrier was that the installer on the enclosed CD did not load (XP SP2, running over Bootcamp on a Macbook). I called the toll-free number, and twenty minutes later was a surfin' fool. An excellent product, well worth $38 and 20 minutes.Customer Review: Great Product!!!

Out of Box setup was no problem at all. I did follow one or two of the guides on here, and set up the WPA settings via the web login.. Placed this next door at my neighbors house(40 yards away) (my neighbor tends to be my uncle, lol.) And he gets an excellent Wireless signal from the Belkin Repeater.
Kudos to a great product!!

I bought this to increase the signal going to my wireless adaptor on my PC and for my PS3 and internet adapter. It works great I went from 2 bars of signal to 5 (out of 5). My download times are a lot faster. I have one in my basement (the unit is about 25 ft from the system) also which helps when I play my PS3 on my projector.Customer Review: This thing is great

I bought this thing to strenghen my wireless signal in my house and out on my back porch.
All I had to do was plug it in and set it next to my router. Push a button and that's it. I moved it to a place upstairs near my porch and my wireless signal worked better everywhere including for the first time on porch.

Worked exactly as advertised. Even better in the fact that it was advertised not to work with Vista and it did. Maybe software doesn't work with Vista but software isn't necessary for a simple range extension. Followed directions, plugged it in and immediately got reception where I hadn't been able to previously.
