So far this bag has been great. I have only had it for about a month, but no problems so far. I have a 16 inch laptop that fits nicely into an internal padded divider. I usually try to carry other papers and a few books in the storage area with no problems. Some reviewers talk about the zippers. I've been looking for a 17" laptop case since Jan 2007. I searched everywhere in Dubai for something that is unique and inexpensive but couldn't find anything. This case has all I want, it's very light, well padded, unique color, well organized (sleeves and pockets), and spacious. I was having trouble finding a quality bag for my new Dell Inspiron 17". Decided to try this bag and it was perfect. Great quality and plenty of protective padding. The fit was amazing...like it was designed for this particular laptop. It also has a smaller bag included that will hold the charger and travel mouse. I bought this 17 inch Belkin Messenger bag for my new 17 inch computer in Feburary 2008....I love it, its easy to use and fits the computer very nicely and has room for your extra cords or etc. you may like to take with you..... its very light weight also... I got Jet/Cabernet color, very nice..I would recommend this to anyone....

After searching high and low, I came to realize that an appealing 17" laptop bag at a good price is really hard to find. I love the style, compactness, and sturdiness of this bag. I carry a Dell M6400 and I'm very happy with it. It's true that the adjustment strap length could be improved, but there is enough play for it to fit my 6'1" frame comfortably.
