I bought a new HP 17" laptop and was looking for a quality padded bag. I picked this one because of the Belkin name. The bag is well constructed and very durable and the computer fits well in it. There is storage (but not a lot) for peripherals such as mouse, power cords etc. There are also outer pouches which I use for paperwork mostly. Overall, I like the bag for it's thick padding and the protection it offers. It seems to be a high quality bag and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bag with good protective qualities that will fit a 17" laptop.Customer Review: A Bag to Remember

I could not be more satisfied with this laptop bag.
Size: Its so roomy... I have a 15 inch laptop, and the 17 inch version of the bag I got can fit not only the laptop, but two large textbooks
Quality: Built to last! Very well put together, no weakspots
Style: I love the colors and the shape and feel of the bag
The one thing I would like to do is modify the strap to be a bit shorter, so it can ride higher up on my waist instead of my upper leg.

This bag is amazingly slim considering I can fit my 17.3" notebook in it. The "Cabernet" color is a deep red that really pops and makes it look unique. The notebook compartment is soft and lined with a velvet-like material so your laptop doesn't get damaged in any way. There are plenty of pockets to keep all your stuff organized and neat. Lastly, this bag has a wide strap that makes it the most comfortable messenger bag I've ever tried; it made carrying my 8 lb laptop very easy.Customer Review: The ABSOLUTE BEST laptop bag!!!

After searching & searching (and more searching) I found this Belkin Messenger Bag for my daughter & daugher-in-law for Christmas for their new laptops. I was hoping that I had made the right choice in ordering these bags. They were EVERYTHING I had hoped for. They are very sleek looking and very well made. Both of my "girls" loved them. I had a hard time finding a good fitting bag for my Inspiron 1720. This is PERFECT. The laptop fits snuggly yet there is room for my files and little odds and ends. Love the little bag that comes with...fits the charger and cords nicely. Lots of little pockets I didn't expect. Plenty of room for my wireless mouse. Like the place for my Ipod.
I don't like the big messenger strap but you don't have to use it.
